Day 4 was a huge one for the Cash Game Festival Bratislava as three trophy winners were crowned during a special ceremony late Saturday night at Banco Casino Bratislava.Matus Kucera won the PLO trophy after winning €1,139 at the €2/€2 PLO feature table for 569.5 blinds, while Jamie Boevey (pictured above) claimed the NLHE trophy after winning €1,532 for 306.4 big blinds at a €2/€5 NLHE televised table.
Meanwhile, Steven Velletri (pictured below) claimed the Mixed Game trophy after winning the €2 ante Short Deck TV table on Day 3 for a profit of €1,457 or 728.5 big blinds. Cash Game Festival co-owner Andreas actually won more at the €2/€2 Sviten Special feature table for €2,595 (1,297.5 big blinds) but graciously gave up his spot to Steven as the trophy winner.
It also wasn’t surprising that last night was a packed house. Despite this, players were able to get seats quickly thanks to the exceptional staff at Banco Casino. Cash games were running around the clock include a few tables running deep into the afternoon.
FiftyGrand Update
A total of 88 players bagged chips heading into Day 2 of the FiftyGrand tournament with more to come in the early hyper-turbo flight right before Day 2 begins. The tournament is guaranteed to award €50,000 for just a €110 buy-in.
The 100 or so players will be back today at 3 p.m. for the second and final table of the tournament.
Pokio Promotions and More on Day 5
Just because we do not have any TV table running on the final day due to the FiftyGrand wrapping up its action, doesn’t mean there won’t be any promotions. At least one package winner will be randomly selected to join us at the CGF Bucharest on Oct. 16-20. Players received tickets for the drawing for each hour they were playing at one of our tables during our festival.
In addition, players will have an opportunity online to win packages to future stops at our CGF poker club at Pokio.
