Day two of the Cash Game Festival is successfully done and the action increased a lot during Thursday night. With things starting off with the live streamed £1/£2 NLHE table, the cards were in the air and an evening full of great action begun.
To get the idea of what went down the first day, check out highlight video from day 1:
Before heading to Aspers Casino Stratford for the evening cash games action, the players enjoyed a darts competition at Flight Club Darts where both old and new faces battled in a friendly atmosphere. This is what we love about Cash Game Festival – a lot of side activities, where you can relax with other players and just have fun away from the poker tables.
Back in the Casino, the action was strong with at peak times 20 tables running simultaneously across a variety of games including no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, and Sviten Special. The first feature table of the evening was £1/£2 no-limit hold’em with many familiar faces from prior Cash Game Festivals.
The action was big at the second televised feature table with stakes being double than yesterday at £5/£10. The big winner of the table was Spain’s Jorge Alberdi who bought in for the most to start the table for £3,800 and ended up walking away with the most as well with a stack of £6,500.
Day 3 is going to be the biggest day of the festival thus far – the stakes on the early televised feature table will be £2/£5, while the bigger game later in the day should be intense with stakes expected to be at £25/£50.
Furthermore, we are thrilled because at least two £25/£50 NLHE tables confirmed for later in the third day and additionally, it is expected that there will also be high stakes Omaha at £10/£25 and maybe higher.
