At Cash Game Festival Tallinn stop, day 2 has come around here at the Olympic Park Casino where we are celebrating poker vacation for five days and with more than 120 hours of seemingly endless cash games from April 25th to April 29th. It is 24/7 poker if you choose it to be this way. The festival grounds are a nice way to relax and socialize as well. Moreover, on each day of the festival, there will be a fun off the felt activity for you to enjoy, so that you can get your mind off poker and move the muscles, be them your real muscles or those beer muscles that need some stretching too. For example, this afternoon, some players with CGF hospitality packages will be heading to a beach volley ball session. You will see the photos of the fun outing later on our Facebook page.
This festival marks our seventh time in Tallinn, our home town.
As usually, many of our regulars players flew in from the neighboring countries and from afar. We are also happy to welcome UK’s Henry Kilbane, who was a co-host at the last Cash Game Festival in Bratislava and a Cash Game Festival sometimes host, Scotland’s Andrew “Picasso” Hedley. For the first time, they are working side by side, commenting on the TV table action here in Tallinn. If you cannot make it to the casino, tune in to our Twitch channel for some high-energy analysis.
The best TV table players – a player with the most big blinds won during any of the TV table sessions here in Tallinn – will win CGF trophy and a full package to the next stop which is in Sunny Beach Bulgaria on August 8th – 12th.
Cash Game Festival co-founder Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk won the last trophy in Bratislava and is now challenging some sharks to take the trophy from him. We will see how this is bound to turn out. What is in the full package? The content is rather sweet – accommodation for 5 days, free hospitality events and stake money. We thought you would like it better that way. Also, our awesome Partner 32Red liked it better this way because they are sponsoring this very special TV table trophy package. Hugs to team 32Red!
If you do not feel comfortable playing at the TV table, you can still win CGF full packages.
So, do not worry! What do you need to do to get the pass to the next festival? Nothing hard, really. Basically, you just need to play poker at the festival – you will earn a draw ticket for every hour you are playing at any cash game table during the whole festival. Just accept the ticket, fill it in with your name and contacts. And then keep playing. Your ticket will automatically enter the draw. There will be two draws at the casino. The first one will take place at 6 PM on Friday and the second one on Sunday at 9 PM. At least two lucky players will get their tickets to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria that way.
So, who were not afraid of the camera and did well at the TV table on day 1 here in Tallinn?
The first €2/€2 hold’em session was aced by no other than Ryan “Metalface” Davey, also known to jump in the commentary booth when he is not busy playing. He made €278 or 139 big blinds. The second ace of the day was Unibet Poker Ambassador Espen Uhlen Jørstad who won €1072 or 214.4 big blinds at the €2/€5 hold’em feature table.
These were our “official winners”.
But we are 100% sure that each one of you who had a good time and played good cash games here in Tallinn with us, won something, be it some profit or good memories.
Also, stay tuned to pokernews.com for festival updates and hand re-caps written by the wealth of poker knowledge Jason Glatzer.
Have a good second day in Tallinn!
Please note that you need to be at least 21 years old to be able to enter the festival venue in Estonia.
