DUBLIN

October 2017 marked the Cash Game Festival’s first time in Dublin, Ireland. The country is beautiful, the people are friendly and there is always something fun to do off the felt. Moreover, Dublin is a great city to visit any time of the year. There will always be some great local Guinness to drink and people willing to play long hours of poker. In general, the Irish poker experience is fun and social. Namely, the Irish love some good poker and are easy to make friends with. They will never shy away from friendly jokes and a good laugh.

Our first event in Dublin took place in a cozy poker club called The Village Green Card Club which has been founded by JP Mc Cann him-self. It is a small, yet decent venue with 15 poker tables and utilizes Holdem, the most advanced card room management system.

JP is the Tournament Director and Host of the JP Poker Masters, JP Poker Mini Series and Norwegian Championships. He has worked as the Tournament Director of D4 Events European Deepstack Championship and European Short-handed Championship. He has also worked as a floor person at some of Europe’s biggest poker tournaments including the Barrier Poker Tour, Paddy Power Irish Open, Pokerstars EPTs & UKIPTs and the WSOPE. This is impressive!

Dublin is a great city and we highly recommend adding it to your poker travel list!
