At Cash Game Festival, poker weekend starts already on Friday. The people are loosening up even more with the action picking up and reaching some impressive levels. This is how a proper poker vacation is done – with a 3-day weekend.
Yesterday’s action picked up as the sun went down (yes, Tallinn was sunny yesterday).
Around midnight, the poker room was filled with poker aficionados, enjoying a wide variety of poker games. Hold’em, Omaha, Sviten Special (NO surprise here), and super dealer’s choice. Since we offer 24/7 poker, tables can be opened at ANY hour. There are not limits on poker action when Cash Game Festival is in town.
This poker weekend started especially well for Sweden’s Peter La Terra.
At Friday’s €2/€2 Omaha TV table here in the Olympic Park Casino, he made a massive profit of €1,996 or 998 big blinds. This puts him in the lead in the run for Cash Game Festival TV table trophy and the sweet package (hotels, stake money and CGF hospitality package) valued at at €1,500. Saturday’s TV table games are going to be exciting.
The earlier stream will be featured by the Estonian poker pro and OlyBet player Carmen-Elina Vist. She will try to beat Peter in €2/€5 hold’em live session. At Tallinn stop, Henry Kilbane and Andrew “Picasso” Hedley will be commentating both TV tables’ action on Cash Game Festival Twitch channel. Last night, we took our players and partners out to a lovely restaurant Ore in the medieval Old Town of Tallinn.
We enjoyed excellent wine and had a multi-course gourmet meal. Of course at some poins, the noise levels in the dinner area went up to some serious levels as the room was filled with interesting conversations and happy laughter. Spiced up with Peter’s victory dance over his successful TV table performance.
Tonight at 11 PM, we will take our players out to a VIP party. You know, one of those CGF parties that are legendary.The party will take place in one of the best night clubs in town, Vabank. Let’s have fun, shall we?
