The Cash Game Festival kicked off in style yesterday at the Poker Room Bucharest for the first of its five days on Oct. 16-20. This marks our first visit to the Romanian capital.
Players enjoyed plenty of action at the tables with 17 tables in action including tournament tables for the NetBet Open by Pokerfest Main Event also held at the venue.
Andreas Wins First TV Table
We hosted two TV tables yesterday commentated by the charismatic George Sandford. As was the case in Bratislava, three CGF trophies will be awarded to the players that win the biggest amount of big blinds at our first ten NLHE, PLO, and Mixed Game feature tables. The trophy also comes with a CGF package valued at €1,000 to our first stop in 2020.
The first table TV table kicked off with stakes at €2/€2 PLO. Cash Game Festival’s very own Andreas Roseborg (lead image) was the star of the show after winning €835 or 417.5 big blinds.
This makes two feature tables in a row Andreas has emerged as the biggest winner. If you remember back to Bratislava in September, Andreas was also the biggest winner at the Sviten Special feature table.
Andrei Wins Big in NLHE
First, it was Andreas and then it was Andrei. The game changed to €2/€5 NLHE for the late feature table after welcome drinks were served.
Andrei Bleau (pictured below) emerged as the biggest winner on that TV table after booking a profit of €1,773 or 354.6 big blinds.
What’s on Tap on Day 2?
Today features two TV tables. The first one features €2/€2 PLO at 7 p.m followed by €2/€5 NLHE at 9:30 p.m. Tune in at the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel to watch the action!
Also, today is the start of the NetBet Open €330 Main Event featuring a huge €100,000 guarantee. Cards will be in the air at 2 p.m. providing a cool dynamic for the Cash Game Festival with many tournament players likely to experience our festival for the first time.
