Day 4 in Gibraltar – TV Table Surprising First & Betsson’s Malta Promotion Reminder!

Day 4 at the Cash Game Festival started with a pool party on top of Sunborn Hotel. The players were relaxing with drinks. Some even tested the waters. Of course, the Norwegians and Finns were the first in the pool despite the weather being a little cloudy. The climate up there is much cold, so anything above 0 degrees must feel heaven to these guys. The Finnish comedian/pokerista Veli-Matti Puumala showed his feminine side in the pool, posing to the camera as if in a SPA commercial. Let’s hope that the footage will make it to the final cut. At least, we have the photo material to prove it.

The €1/€2 no-limit first TV table round is definitely memorable. There were two Cash Game Festival firsts to talk about. Firstly, Ryan Davey from UK in TV table seat #5 generously donated 15% of his profits to one lucky Twitch viewer. He wanted to do that because he loves the cash Twitch and the people in chat a lot, occasionally appearing in the beloved commentator booth with Brandon Allen, analysing the live table action.

Secondly, Brandon Allen’s wonderful wife Kadi-Liis Allen appeared on the earlier TV table, making Brandon sweat a little in his booth. But with all seriousness, it is more likely that he felt really proud of his wife. It was Kadi-Liis’ first live poker experience; also, her first time to play with strangers. And she chose to play at the TV table despite that, having our cameras pointed at her, recording her every move. She made a nice profit and was very excited about the experience, feeling tempted to sit down at another poker table but wisely choosing to keep her profits.
Her previous poker experience is online on Betsafe.com, playing there with friends. She has tried playing on Pokerstars but the games there are simply too aggressive for her with very high stakes and too many players. She warmly speaks of Betsafe and recommends it to all beginners.

The later TV table was the £2/£2 pot-limit Omaha with some comedy on the side. Namely, the Finnish comedian and poker player Veli-Matti Puumala was playing and was among the big winners of the TV table.
And then it was time to party. The players started gathering for the VIP party at around 11 PM, then heading to a club nearby where we had tables booked and drinks galore. Like always, the party took off really fast with people laughing, talking and having an impressive amount of drinks. Then it was time to head to the dance floor. There seemed to be way too many ladies in the club, so the dance floor simply needed the Cash Game Festival crowd to balance things out a little. So, when the club filled with handsome Cash Game Festival players, the dance floor got heated for sure, the ladies at the club getting very excited, indeed.

What was most impressive about the VIP party was the fact that around 4 PM, the players headed back to the casino to play some poker. The action in the ball room took off rapidly.
During the night, Andro Loos, the manager of the Cash Game Festival, started losing his voice. It was a very good sign because the legend says that if Andro loses his voice during Cash Game Festival party then the party has been really good. Phew, the voice is gone! We can proudly exclaim that the VIP party was super fun. Keep it up, Andro!
